About the Role

As a Security Officer – Gate Access Control with Prosegur, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring facility access points, verifying credentials, and controlling the entry of authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.

You will play an important role in protecting the facility while providing professional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and responding to security concerns in accordance with site procedures.

In This Role, You Will

• Monitor assigned gates and access points to maintain facility security.
• Verify identification, badges, and access authorization for personnel and vehicles.
• Manage visitor registration, contractor access, and delivery verification.
• Coordinate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and site leadership for entry approvals.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery logs.
• Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and safety concerns.
• Respond to security incidents and **escalate concerns** according to site post orders.
• Complete incident reports, Daily Activity Reports (DARs), and shift logs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, client representatives, and team members.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Follow company policies, security procedures, and applicable regulations.

Experience & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain all required state and local security licenses, registrations, or certifications.
• Previous security, gate access control, or data center experience preferred.
• Prior military or law enforcement experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with access control, badging, and visitor management systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Availability to work assigned weekend shifts and holidays.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing, as permitted by applicable law.
