The Division of Surgical Pathology at the University of Rochester Medical Center/Strong Memorial Hospital invites applicants for a Gastrointestinal/Hepatobiliary instructor position in Rochester, NY. The GI service covers GI, liver, and pancreatobiliary pathology with active collaboration among related surgical teams and a large case volume.

Instructors may rotate through other subspecialties or affiliated hospitals.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Must be eligible for a license to practice medicine in New York State.
• Experience in GI, liver, and pancreatobiliary pathology is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Instructors may rotate through other subspecialty services or affiliated community hospitals.
• Signout privileges anticipated for instructors with appropriate qualifications.
• Opportunities for translational research with departmental funds available.
