The section receives approximately 83,000 cases annually, including mucosal biopsies, surgical resections, medical liver biopsies, small bowel and liver transplants, extramural consults, and molecular GI pathology specimens. We also host a Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Pathology Fellowship Program.
A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Maximum salary: $505,500

The salary range displayed reflects the anticipated range for new physicians hired into full‑time (100% FTE) positions and is generally aligned with or below the 50th percentile of nationally recognized benchmarks by specialty. The exact compensation will be determined in accordance with fair market value, considering professional experience, clinical expertise, board certification, work history, and FTE. This range excludes the value of Cleveland Clinic’s comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings.
