Job summary

Turing Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an MD with gastroenterology and hepatology expertise to fine-tune large language models for accurate and empathetic GI and liver medicine reasoning. You will craft advanced GI/hepatic scenarios and assess AI responses for diagnostic validity and evidence-based judgment.

The role is remote, contractor-based, with 20-40 hours weekly over 1 month, and potential extension. Strong communication skills and top-tier medical training are essential.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent; active practice within the last 3+ years.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology and/or Hepatology.
• Strong grasp of GI and liver diseases including IBD, hepatitis, cirrhosis, GI oncology and endoscopy.
• Able to articulate complex medical reasoning in clear, patient-friendly language.
• Excellent written and spoken English; familiarity with digital medical tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve advanced clinical scenarios reflecting gastroenterology and hepatology practice.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for diagnostic accuracy, clinical judgment, and evidence-based reasoning in GI and liver medicine.
• Identify gaps in AI understanding across subspecialties including motility disorders, pancreaticobiliary disease, and transplant hepatology.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and medical peers to improve model quality and reliability.
• Provide structured, expert feedback that informs next-generation AI development for clinical and educational applications.

Role Overview:

In this project, you will leverage your expertise in gastroenterology and hepatology to help fine-tune large language models (like ChatGPT). Your deep understanding of GI diagnostics, endoscopic procedures, and liver disease management will help ensure AI systems deliver accurate, empathetic, and safe medical reasoning.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and solve advanced clinical scenarios reflecting gastroenterology and hepatology practice, from IBD management and complex endoscopy to cirrhosis, hepatitis, and GI malignancies.


• Evaluate AI-generated responses for diagnostic accuracy, clinical judgment, and evidence-based reasoning in GI and liver medicine.


• Identify gaps in AI understanding across gastroenterology and hepatology subspecialties including motility disorders, pancreaticobiliary disease, and transplant hepatology.


• Collaborate with AI researchers and medical peers to improve model quality and reliability.


• Provide structured, expert feedback that informs next-generation AI development for clinical and educational applications.

Candidate Requirements:

• MD or equivalent; active practice within the last 3+ years.

• Commitment: 20-40 hours/week (minimum 4 hours/day, with overlap in PST).
