• Delivers clinical care to patients in the PMG GI practice in all venues including clinic and lab.
• Supports mechanisms to gather and report quality measures.
• Receives and resolves patient, staff and provider complaints.
• Participates in quality improvement plans.
• Works with leadership team on the practice's financial, clinical, and service quality performance.
• Participates in recruitment and retention of physicians and staff.
• Takes corrective action with accountability and authority.
• Determines care plans for patients and executes them.
• Teaches, trains and oversees APCs in the care they deliver to GI patients.
• Performs other functions as required.

Education

Job Summary

Serves as a general Gastroenterology staff physician.

Practice Highlights

• 36 hours of direct patient care per week.
• 4 hours of administrative time.
• Dedicated GI lab time 2-3 times per week, seeing on average 12-15 patients per day.
• Clinic patient visits 1.5 days per week.

Responsibilities
