Responsibilities

TheCVPH Gastroenterology team is seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto provide high‑quality care to adult patients inPlattsburgh, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative specialty team that values learning, teamwork, and patient‑centered care.

About the Role

This position offers a balanced mix ofoutpatient clinic careandinpatient consult/rounding. Working closely with Gastroenterologists and fellow APPs, the APP provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of adult GI patients.

Schedule

• 36 hours of patient‑facing time
• 4 hours ofnon-patient facingtime
• 8‑hour days, 5 days per week
• Inpatient coverage of one week every third week, with remaining time spent in clinic. This inpatient rotation is a consistent and expected part of the role and is built into the team’s overall coverage model.
