Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology to join a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of NP experience, with a preference for gastroenterology-specific training and experience.

The role emphasizes comprehensive GI care, coordination with supervising physicians, and delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and active State of FL Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License that includes prescriptive privileges certified by the AANP or the ANCC
• Master’s degree or greater. Graduate from an ANA accredited School of Nursing. Graduate of Nurse Practitioner program with MS degree
• Maintain current Certifications by AHA in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) is required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to GI patients in collaboration with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary team
• Coordinate care across the full spectrum from initial evaluation through treatment and follow-up
• Serve as central point of communication between providers, patients, and families
• Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned

Education

State of FL Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges (AANP/ANCC)

Master’s degree in Nursing

BLS and ACLS certifications
