Job summary

St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient flow, triage information, and assist clinicians across multiple departments. The MA will collaborate with physicians and staff to provide comprehensive care and maintain accurate medical records.

Required: high school diploma or GED; MA certification from recognized bodies; ability to work in a remote/hybrid setting with relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• MA certification from AMT/NCCT/AAMA/NAHP/NHA or current Oregon licensure as EMT/LPN/RN/AT; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for physician assessment.
• Record and maintain patient's medical data in charts.
• Assist physicians with patient calls and requests from other professionals.
• Perform physician-requested ancillary and surgical procedures (excluding IV meds).
• Maintain equipment and inventory levels.
• Support Lean principles and organizational integrity.
