Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of Medical Assisting program and/or 1 year related experience/US armed forces medical training.
• Completion of formal medical services training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical and administrative patient care per policy and guidelines.
• Assist care providers with procedures and exams; prepare patients for visits.
• Deliver culturally competent, family-centered care and partner with families.
• Act as a patient advocate and provide education to families as needed.
• Maintain records, data entry, and proper documentation per department policy.
