Job summary

UTHealth Houston's Department of Gastroenterology in Bayshore, TX is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a dedicated clinical team providing focused patient care.

Responsibilities include medication administration under supervision, triage, coordinating procedures and scheduling, and maintaining EPIC records. Candidates with 2+ years LVN experience and a Texas license are encouraged to apply; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas LVN license (BON).
• Minimum 2 years LVN experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC/Electronic Health Records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused patient care under supervision of RNs/MDs.
• Administer medications and basic clinical procedures as trained.
• Triage patient concerns and coordinate scheduling and referrals.
• Assist with procedures and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Support team with clinic flow and patient communication.
