Job summary

CI Health Group Locum Tenens is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to provide on-site coverage in South Carolina. The role includes 24/7 on-call duties for one week each month, with a half-day endoscopy block and multiple morning clinic sessions. Procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy, supported by a full team.

The incumbent will work with a dedicated in-house credentialing team and direct pays through weekly deposits, with a focus on seamless onboarding and patient care.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Gastroenterology.
• SC Medical License required.
• CSR required before onboarding.
• Permanent SC DEA required.

Responsibilities

• On-site gastroenterology services with 24-hour on-call coverage (1 week per month).
• Endoscopy procedures: EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy.
• 2–3 half-day clinic sessions per week (8–11:20 am).
• On-site support: 1 PA, 1 LPN or MA in clinic; Endo: 1 RN, 1 CRNA, 1 Tech; NP covers inpatient consults M–F 7 am–1 pm.
