Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Gastroenterologist to join a nationally recognized academic gastroenterology program dedicated to patient care, education, and research.

Flexible opportunities exist to support our growing IBD program on a full-time, part-time, or as-needed basis across Temple sites, with the goal of expanding the IBD program throughout the Philadelphia region.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Gastroenterology.
  • Fellowship training or demonstrated expertise in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
  • Licensed to practice in PA.
  • Proficient in routine endoscopic procedures.
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide multidisciplinary IBD care across Temple Health system.
  • Collaborate with colorectal surgery, pathology, radiology, nutrition, endoscopy.
  • Engage in teaching and research within an academic gastroenterology program.
  • Help grow and shape the IBD program across Temple Health sites.

Summary of Position

The Department of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University has an outstanding opportunity for a fellowship-trained Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Gastroenterologist to join a nationally recognized academic gastroenterology program with a rich history of excellence in patient care, education, and research.

Flexible opportunities exist to support our growing IBD program on a full-time, part-time, or as needed basis for individuals with a passion for delivering comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to patients with complex inflammatory bowel diseases. Clinical opportunities are available across multiple Temple sites, with the opportunity to help expand and shape the growth of the IBD program across the Temple Health system.

  • Training Program: Three-year fellowship in gastroenterology with broad clinical exposure, advanced procedures, and robust research opportunities guided by faculty.
  • Program Growth: Play a key role in expanding and strengthening Temple Health’s IBD program across the health system while helping increase access to specialized IBD care throughout the Philadelphia region.

Candidate Qualifications
