WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 500 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. We are currently seeking an experienced Inpatient Medical Gastroenterologist to join a high-volume and high-producing Gastroenterology practice, consisting of 8 Gastroenterologists and supported by 10 APPs, 4 nurses and 8 medical assistants. This position will provide inpatient critical care at WakeMed Hospitals. Locations include Raleigh, North Raleigh and Cary.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient critical care at WakeMed Hospitals.
• Deliver quality clinical care to patients within the assigned division.
• Teach and supervise residents, medical students and APPs within the division.
• Ensure accurate coding and corporate compliance.
• Perform general administrative responsibilities of the practice.
• Report directly to the Director of the assigned division and support the mission and values of WakeMed Physician Practices.
