Job summary

Sanford Health in Marshfield, Wisconsin seeks a BC/BE Advanced Gastroenterologist to join our established team as an Adult GI-Hospitalist at Marshfield Medical Center. The role includes inpatient consults, 7 day on/7 day off scheduling, and daily outpatient endoscopy in a dedicated Endoscopy Suite.

ERCP training is required; EUS experience is preferred but not mandatory. The position features 12 hours on-site followed by 12 hours of call from home, with inpatient APP support and a trauma Level

Qualifications

• MD/DO required with board certification or eligible status
• Active involvement in at least 50 gastroenterology cases in last 12 months if not fellowship-trained
• Fellowship in Gastroenterology; ABMS/AOA/RCPSC or equivalent credentials preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physicals, admit and provide consultative services as applicable
• Do 3–4 outpatient endoscopies daily when scheduled in Endoscopy Suite
• Provide inpatient GI-hospitalist coverage including 7 days on/7 days off rotation
• Participate in education and research initiatives to advance patient care and outcomes
