Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston seeks a Gastroenterologist to provide expert patient care within a multispecialty group.

The physician will diagnose and treat GI conditions, using endoscopy, imaging, and other tests as part of an evidence-based approach.

Qualifications

• Completion of Internal Residency (3 years) is required.
• Completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship (3 years) is required.
• American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certification or board eligibility with subsequent board certification in gastroenterology is expected.
• Texas medical license is required.

Responsibilities

• Using endoscopic procedures, CT, MRI, ultrasound and other tests in an evidence-based approach.

Job description

We are looking for qualified candidates for the position of Gastroenterologist.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns.
• Performing specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients.
• Evidence-based approach with appropriate use of endoscopic procedures, CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, and other tests.
• Shared Hospital Call and Office Call required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Some experience is preferred but not mandatory. Well recognized national fellowship programs are preferred.

EDUCATION:

• Completion of three-year Internal Residency.
• Completion of three-year Gastroenterology Fellowship.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:

• American Board of Internal Medicine or ABIM certified.
• Board eligibility, with subsequent Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
• Licensed in the State of Texas.
