Job summary

Delta Locum Tenens is seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist for weekend inpatient coverage in Central Louisiana. EUS is required and ERCP is preferred; must hold a Louisiana license or be eligible via IMLC. Epic EMR is used for charting.

The role involves 24-hour call, rounding and on-call consults with 4-6 daily consults; travel arrangements and credentialing support are provided, and malpractice insurance is covered by the agency.

Qualifications

• Active endoscopy experience with EUS; ERCP preferred.
• Gastroenterology board certification or eligibility.
• Licensed to practice in Louisiana or eligible via IMLC.

Responsibilities

• Rounding and call on weekends in inpatient setting.
• Perform gastroenterology procedures as needed.
• Coordinate patient care during 24-hour call.
