Job summary

University of South Florida is seeking an APRN/Instructor to provide comprehensive patient care in gastroenterology and nutrition, in both ambulatory and inpatient settings. This role emphasizes clinical care, teaching, and collaborative academic duties within USF Health and Tampa General Hospital.

The ideal candidate will hold an APRN or PA degree, be board-certified or eligible, and demonstrate strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an APRN or PA program.
• Current Florida licensure as an APRN or PA (or eligibility).
• Board certification as APRN or PA (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA) or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of GI, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and liver diseases.
• Conduct outpatient and inpatient clinical duties and education sessions.
• Coordinate care with gastroenterology faculty, primary care, surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Contribute to quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Document encounters accurately in the EHR and participate in call coverage.
• Participate in teaching of medical students, residents, fellows, and APP students.
