Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Missouri seeks a Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver evidence-based care across the continuum of GI services. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic GI conditions, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with physicians and the health team.

You will conduct patient assessments, order and interpret tests within scope, prescribe therapies, provide education, and document accurately in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Current Missouri APRN or PA license in good standing.
• National board certification as NP or PA.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority per state regulations.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and exams.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic GI conditions.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing within scope.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as allowed.
• Provide patient education and preventive care recommendations.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
• Manage follow-up visits and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation per standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement and professional development.
