MercyOne Genesis in Davenport, Iowa, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Gastroenterology team. You will evaluate and manage GI patients, perform exams, and collaborate with gastroenterologists to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities include coordinating GI screenings, educating patients, and maintaining EMR documentation while contributing to quality improvement and patient safety in a busy clinical setting.

Qualificações

• Nurse Practitioners must have a master’s (or doctoral) in nursing and state licensure with national certification.
• Physician Assistants must hold a master’s degree in PA studies, Iowa licensure, and NCCPA certification.
• Prescriptive authority as applicable for the role.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage GI patients.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate GI screenings and procedures (colonoscopy/endoscopy) as trained.
• Educate patients on disease management, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and participate in quality improvement.
