Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our outpatient Gastroenterology team in Peoria and Pekin, Illinois. The GI Outpatient APP will perform H&P on new patients and follow-up visits for GI conditions, order and interpret labs and imaging, and coordinate procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS, with pathology review for patients after procedures.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing with Acute Care/Adult/Geriatric/Family NP or PA licensure.
• GI clinicals or work experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform H&P on new patients and follow-up visits for GI conditions.
• Order and interpret labs/imaging; coordinate GI procedures (EGD/Colonoscopy/ERCP/EUS) and review pathology with patients.
