A leading gastroenterology care provider in Columbus, OH is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join their outpatient team. This position involves conducting patient evaluations, developing care plans, and collaborating with physicians. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, a relevant degree, and possess essential certifications. Formación

• Preferred at least 2 years of experience as an advanced practice provider in the outpatient setting.
• Gastroenterology experience is desired but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine and urgent patient visits in a gastroenterology clinic setting.
• Perform history and physical examinations on new and return patients.
• Order appropriate laboratory studies and tests.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other care team members.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the Electronic Medical Record.

Conocimientos

Strong clinical assessment and analytical skills

Self-directed professional with strong organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems

Educación

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

Current national certification as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Current state license and registration

Valid DEA license

Certified in BLS endorsed by the American Heart Association
