Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health, the state’s largest integrated health care delivery system in New Jersey, is seeking gastroenterologists to join our medical group practices across Monmouth, Mercer, Ocean, Somerset, and Middlesex Counties. You will practice in outpatient, inpatient, and ASC settings and participate in education with Rutgers Health collaboration.

The role offers opportunities for CME, involvement with a Digestive Health Service Line, and potential GI hospitalist roles for inpatient-focused

Qualifications

• Gastroenterology Fellowship-training completion.
• ABIM Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey; DEA and CDS required on start.
• Commitment to excellence in care and service.
• Mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Practice in outpatient, inpatient, and ASC settings, with future opportunity for ASC ownership.
• Be part of a growing digestive health service line affiliated with academic specialists in IBD, Motility, Hepatology, and Advanced Endoscopy at Rutgers Health.
• Participate in the education of residents and fellows.
• Ability for CME through participation in monthly Rutgers GI Grand Rounds and quarterly quality conferences.
• GI Hospitalist opportunities also available for those looking to forge a career in inpatient care.
