University Medical Partners, a Stanford Medicine partner, seeks a full-time BC/BE gastroenterologist for its Pleasanton area clinics (Pleasanton, Livermore, Castro Valley). Expect general GI duties, collaboration with Stanford GI faculty, and robust ancillary support.

The role features a 36 patient-contact-hour workweek, with a mix of clinic and hospital-based procedures at Livermore Surgery Center and Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital in Pleasanton.

Qualifications

• BC/BE gastroenterologist with California medical licensure preferred.
• Strong clinical and procedural skills in general gastroenterology.
• Experience collaborating with academic partners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage general gastroenterology patients in Pleasanton, Livermore, and Castro Valley clinics.
• Perform procedures at Livermore Surgery Center and Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital.
• Collaborate with Stanford GI Faculty, hepatologists, and ID physicians.
• Maintain thorough documentation in EPIC EMR and coordinate with ancillary staff.
