Virginia Commonwealth Universitys Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition seeks a Board-Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our team at Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, VA. This position welcomes J1 candidates and emphasizes a rural community focus with a mix of clinic and procedural duties in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in gastroenterology from an accredited program.
• Virginia licensure or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Clinical duties including a Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm schedule.
• 10 days of call coverage per month (evenings and weekends).
• 2 days in clinic and 3 days in procedures weekly.
