Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join Lifepoint Health’s regional network. The role involves a mix of inpatient procedures and outpatient clinic, ERCP, and general GI work within a hospital-owned multispecialty group.

You'll work with a full‑time GI and an APP during recruitment, with access to Athena EMR, two endoscopy suites now and plans for more, travel assistance, meal allowance, malpractice coverage, and a flexible schedule.

Position Detail:

FryeCare Physician Network is a hospital owned multispecialty group located in Hickory, NC (roughly an hour from Charlotte and Asheville).

• FRMC is looking to partner with high quality physicians to provide consistent GI coverage
• Contract with the hospital directly and avoid the locums companies
• PRN PSA
• Flat Daily Rate $4900
• Travel Assistance

• A mix of inpatient procedures and outpatient clinic
• Two endoscopy suites in the hospital and plans for the outpatient clinic to include three endoscopy suites
