Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board certification or eligibility in gastroenterology.
• Endoscopy training and ability to perform procedures.
• Active Arizona medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% outpatient gastroenterology care.
• Perform EGD and colonoscopy; participate in advanced endoscopy if desired.
• Collaborate with the GI network and sister clinic in Gilbert for clinical support.
• No hospital calls; maintain a phone-based practice.

Position Highlights

• 100% outpatient gastroenterology - no hospital call
• Full-time employed position with Abrazo Medical Group / Tenet Healthcare
• Balanced weekly structure: 2 clinic days + 2-3 procedure days
• Procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, and advanced endoscopy (if desired - not required)
• Procedures performed at a nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Abrazo West Campus
• Phone-based practice call only - no in-house or overnight hospital obligations
• High unmet demand with immediate referral volume; step into a full schedule quickly
• Clinical collaboration and support from an established sister GI clinic in Gilbert (4 physicians, 5 APPs)
