Foundation Physician Medical Group in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking a part‑time General GI Physician affiliated with Dominican Hospital for a flexible schedule with an endoscopy center, hospital and clinic within walking distance. You will join a team of GI physicians and experienced providers in a supportive, patient‑centered culture.

Compensation ranges from $298,000 to $325,000 per year depending on experience and FTE (0.5–0.75).

Formación

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Active California medical license or eligibility.

As our General GI Physician, you will join Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican, a multi-specialty, physician-owned and patient-centered organization in Santa Cruz, CA. You will become an integral part of our team, affiliated with Dominican Hospital, providing exceptional gastroenterology care within a flexible, part-time practice located in a truly exceptional coastal community. You will work alongside established Gastroenterologists in the practice and an experienced team of community Gastroenterologists, sharing a manageable 1:5 weekday call and 1:9 weekend and hospital call. The convenience of having the endoscopy center, hospital, and clinic all within walking distance will streamline your workflow. You'll also have the opportunity to precept advanced practice providers and future residents, contributing to the next generation of medical professionals.

We are offering a competitive compensation package ranging from $298k - $325k, depending on your experience and FTE (0.5-0.75). Your comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and a CME allowance.

Job Requirements

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility inGastroenterology
• Active or eligible license in the state of California
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
