Job summary

Ascension Medical Group Via Christi Gastroenterology in Wichita, KS is seeking a Board Eligible/Certified Gastroenterologist for a full-time, outpatient-focused role. The position includes performing endoscopic procedures and coordinating care across specialties within a large, nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Perform endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with primary care physicians, surgeons, hospitalists, and other specialists.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support clinical care, compliance, and reimbursement requirements.
