Job summary

Optum NY is seeking a patient-centric Gastroenterologist to join our team in Syosset, NY. This independent practice offers affiliation with a local tertiary care hospital and opportunities in Surgery Center/ASC ownership, with robust in-house diagnostics and comprehensive support for patient care.

Qualified candidates must hold unrestricted NY licensure, be board-certified or eligible in gastroenterology, and possess an active DEA license or be able to obtain one before starting.

Independent practice with strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospital that provides a full range of gastroenterology medicine

Surgery Center/ASC Ownership opportunities

Robust in-house diagnostic testing facility

Full complement of support teams to assist with patient care

Required Qualifications:

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $371,000 - $735,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
