Job summary

A healthcare staffing leader is looking for a Gastroenterologist to join their team in Urbana, IL. The position offers a generous compensation package and the opportunity to work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment. Candidates need to hold an unrestricted Illinois medical license and be board eligible or certified in gastroenterology. You will have the chance to teach residents and maintain individual clinical autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology clinical care in a hospital-employed setting.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Teach Internal Medicine residents if opportunity arises.
• Maintain clinical autonomy within a multi-specialty group.
• Maintain individual clinical autonomy within a multi-specialty group practice.

Start Date: 30-90 days

Position Type: Permanent - Hospital Employed

EMR: Epic

Call: 1:5 city call that is shared with other providers

Additional Info:

• 2 GI Hospitalists, 7 Outpatient Gastroenterologists, 4 Colorectal Surgeons, and 14 Advanced Practice Providers
• individual clinical autonomy combined with the efficiency of a multi-specialty group practice

• Opportunity to teach Internal Medicine residents

Job Requirements:

• Unrestricted IL License
• BE/BC in Gastroenterology

Responsibilities
