Job summary

iRecruitmd is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a busy GI practice in Norfolk, Nebraska. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, physician leadership, and compassionate patient care within a collaborative team including 1 experienced physician and 3 APPs.

The position features a diverse payor mix, a wide range of procedures (HALO, BRAVO, Hepatitis C, Crohn’s, ERCP), and a favorable work‑life balance with a maximum of 10 call days per month.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible GI required.
• ERCP procedures expected.
• No EUS.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology care and perform procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with APPs and medical leadership.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care plans.
• Maintain a balanced call schedule (max 10 days/month).

Practice Highlights

Established, busy GI practice with 1 experienced physician and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Manage 200 patients per month, including 100 new patients/month across a diverse payor mix

Wide range of procedures performed, including:

• HALO
• BRAVO
• Management of Hepatitis C and Crohn’s Disease
• ERCP required
• No EUS
• Fully integrated EPIC electronic medical records
• Max 10 days/month call schedule – Enjoy work-life balance

Benefits & Compensation

Signing Bonus equal to 10% of base salary
