Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an inpatient gastro hospitalist to cover 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, at Sacred Heart and Holy Family hospitals in Washington. The role focuses on inpatient care with a steady patient load.

The position requires upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal, ERCP diagnostics and esophageal dilatation, plus lower GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with polyp excision. We provide housing, travel, malpractice insurance, credentialing help, and a dedicated recruiter.

• Carry out ERCP diagnostics and esophageal dilatation.
• Coordinate care with hospital teams and specialists.

Job description

Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm with 8 hour shifts. Approximately 5 patients per shift. Coverage between Sacred Heart and Holy Family hospitals.

Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal required. ERCP diagnostic and esophageal dilatation skills needed. Lower GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with polyp excision required.

Gastro hospitalist role with inpatient focus. Ongoing coverage opportunity.
