Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio seeks a Gastroenterologist to join a growing Digestive Health Institute. You will provide outpatient gastroenterology services, perform endoscopic procedures, and collaborate with APPs to expand access to care.

The practice supports advanced endoscopy, multi-site opportunities, and telehealth integration to improve patient access. A strong referral network and institutional investment enable a scalable GI program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with approved Gastroenterology training
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Interest in collaborative, team-based care
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed and encouraged

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic with emphasis on comprehensive care
• Endoscopic procedures and patient-focused gastroenterology care
• Collaboration and supervision of APP team members
• Participation in program growth initiatives
• Optional advanced inpatient coverage based on service needs
