Jackson Physician Search is assisting a Southeast Missouri healthcare organization in recruiting a BC/BE Gastroenterologist for an inpatient GI hospitalist role with a structured, 168-shift schedule per year. The position emphasizes balance between career success and personal well-being, with a collaborative inpatient GI team and strong ED partnership.

In addition to a guaranteed base salary plus APP stipend, a $100,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with PSLF-qualifying loan repayment, relocation

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible gastroenterologist.
• Experience in inpatient GI service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient GI care as a hospitalist in a structured, blocked schedule.
• Work closely with inpatient GI team and ED to minimize overnight calls.
• Manage an average of 10–12 scopes per day; ERCP/EUS welcomed but not required.
