Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a hospital-employed, not-for-profit medical center in Hickory, NC. You will perform general and advanced GI procedures in a high-volume setting with a dedicated team of 9 gastroenterologists and 6 APPs.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with a 1:7 on-call rotation and access to a state-of-the-art GI facility. The encompassing community offers proximity to Charlotte and Asheville.

Qualifications

• Open to general or advanced gastroenterology procedures.
• Endoscopy expansion with new state-of-the-art GI facility.
• Hospital-employed, not-for-profit medical center with physician input in decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Average 10 procedures per day in a high-volume environment.
• Monday - Friday schedule with 1:7 call rotation.
• Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, EGD and advanced GI procedures on-site.
• Support and collaborate with a large gastroenterology team.
• Coordinate with recruiting and licensing teams as part of onboarding.
