Job summary
UF Health Central Florida Medical Group in Orlando is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing team and expand Gastroenterology services across Central Florida.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive GI care in inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while contributing to growth and development of services within a patient-centered environment backed by UF Health resources.
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist.
- Ability to provide comprehensive GI care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Experience with Epic EMR and DAX AI documentation support is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general Gastroenterology services in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures consistent with clinical expertise and privileges
- Participate in shared call coverage and inpatient consultation responsibilities
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Support the continued growth and development of Gastroenterology services
- Opportunity to perform advanced endoscopic procedures based on qualifications and organizational needs
- Utilize Epic electronic medical records with DAX AI documentation support
