Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast invites gastroenterologists to join our growing GI practice in northeast Philadelphia. The role combines inpatient and outpatient work with endoscopy at our surgery centers.

Our five-physician group offers full scope GI services, ER coverage, and the chance to teach residents and medical students; a modern office and a new Torresdale campus are under construction to support patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited program.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited GI fellowship.
• Board certified/eligible in IM, GI.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient consult service, ER call coverage, outpatient clinic and endoscopy.
• Work with a team of five GI physicians with diverse sub-specialties.
• Participate in call pool 1:4 to 1:6.
• Opportunity to work with internal medicine residents and medical students.
