Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Gastroenterologist for the East Stroudsburg, PA location.

The physician will provide comprehensive gastroenterology services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of GI disorders within a hospital and clinic setting. Responsibilities include performing history and physicals, coordinating care with referrals, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in gastroenterology.
• MD or DO licensed by the state licensure board within the state of practice; Board Certified/Eligible in gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of patients seen and provides high-quality gastroenterology care.
• Coordinates patient care with referrals to other physicians, nurses and specialists; communicates with patients and families.
• Keeps up-to-date with current medical practices and maintains confidentiality per Network policies.

Education
