Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a physician for a clinic-based assignment in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. The role requires performing upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy and liver biopsy in a mixed inpatient/outpatient setting.

Sigmoidoscopy, foreign body removal and variceal injections are also expected. Peg placement is preferred, and paid malpractice insurance with prepaid travel and housing expenses are included.

Qualifications

• Inpatient and outpatient rounding required.
• Experience with upper GI procedures and endoscopy is required.
• Skills in sigmoidoscopy, foreign body removal and variceal injection are required.
• PEG placement is preferred when available.

Responsibilities

• Perform upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy and liver biopsy.
• Rounding in mixed inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Respond to patient needs and coordinate care with the Weatherby Healthcare team.
