Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, is recruiting a Gastroenterologist to join the Digestive Health Institute. The role offers a mix of clinic and procedures with strong referral networks, dedicated endoscopy resources, and opportunities across multiple sites to expand digestive care.

You will perform outpatient endoscopy and GI clinics, collaborate with APPs, participate in growth initiatives, and access ambulatory surgery center services.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Interest in collaborative, team-based care.
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic.
• Endoscopic procedures.
• Collaboration and supervision of APP team members.
• Participation in program growth initiatives.
• Optional advanced inpatient coverage based on expertise and service needs.
