Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio invites a Gastroenterologist to join our Digestive Health Institute. This role supports general GI or advanced therapeutic endoscopy within a high-growth program, backed by a large referral network and proven patient access.

You will provide outpatient GI care with endoscopic procedures, collaborate with APPs, and participate in program growth initiatives across multiple sites. Inpatient coverage is optional based on expertise and service needs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Interest in collaborative, team-based care.
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic duties.
• Endoscopic procedures and patient care.
• Supervise and collaborate with APP team members.
• Participate in program growth initiatives.
