Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our Digestive Health Institute. The role offers a mix of outpatient GI and advanced endoscopy with strong procedural volumes from day one.

You will work within a large referral network, supported by dedicated endoscopy resources and block time, with potential multi-site opportunities and telehealth integration to improve patient access.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with gastroenterology specialty.
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Interest in collaborative, team-based care.
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic.
• Endoscopic procedures.
• Collaboration and supervision of APP team members.
• Participation in program growth initiatives.
• Optional advanced inpatient coverage based on expertise and service needs.
