Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is recruiting a Gastroenterologist to join our Digestive Health Institute. The role offers a mix of general GI and advanced endoscopy procedures with strong patient volume and multi-site opportunities.

You will collaborate in a team-based setting with APP support and dedicated endoscopy resources, contributing to growth initiatives and access to ambulatory surgery center services.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology is required or anticipated.
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training is welcomed and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic responsibilities.
• Perform endoscopic procedures according to patient needs.
• Collaborate with and supervise APP team members.
• Participate in program growth initiatives.
• Optional advanced inpatient coverage based on expertise and service needs.
