Responsibilities

• Help grow the practice from one to three physicians.
• Work with nurse practitioners for patient visits and hospital rounds.
• Participate in partnership opportunities after one year.

Job Description

Private practice physician‑owned Gastroenterology group on the Gulf Coast of Florida seeks two energetic, entrepreneurial and caring physicians to help grow practice in 2018 from one to three physicians. Practice growth is due to a strong local referral base and a retiring nearby GI physician.

The practice employs two nurse practitioners who help with hospital rounds and office patient visits. The office is located next to the hospital. Call requirements are limited with no dedicated ER call. An affiliated surgery center is nearby, and in‑office ancillary services increase passive revenue streams. Partnership is available after one year.

Relocation assistance, CME allowance, and health coverage for the provider and family are offered. This is a true private practice opportunity that allows for independence and autonomy in pace and schedule.

Qualifications

• MD
• Board Certified Gastroenterologist
• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Florida
• Will consider recent Fellows and individuals with academic or private practice experience
• General Gastroenterology, Hepatology or advanced Endoscopic training can be accommodated
