Job summary

Ascension Health in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a gastroenterologist to join the GI hospitalist team at Sacred Heart Hospital. This inpatient role includes procedures and access to ASC facilities within a robust clinical network.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology; Florida MD/DO licensure and DEA registration are required. A strong referral base and mission-driven environment support long-term growth in a nonprofit health system.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Join a growing team of 2 physicians and 3 APPs
• Practice setting: GI Hospitalist (inpatient) + procedures, with occasional outpatient clinic coverage
• Access to ASC, inpatient endoscopy suite and outpatient clinic
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

• Sacred Heart Hospital was founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1915. What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
