Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, seeks a Gastroenterologist to join the Digestive Health Institute and help expand a growing GI program. The role offers a mix of clinic time and endoscopic procedures with strong procedural volume from day one.

You will work in a multi-site practice with dedicated endoscopy resources, APP support, and telehealth integration to increase patient access and streamline care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO is required and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training is welcomed and encouraged.
• Ability to collaborate with a team of providers including APPs.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic responsibilities.
• Perform endoscopic procedures as part of patient care.
• Collaborate with APP team and supervise as needed.
• Participate in program growth and initiatives.
• Optional advanced inpatient coverage based on service needs.
