Job summary

Enloe Health in Chico, California seeks a Gastroenterologist to join a collegial team and provide high-quality GI care in a regional referral setting.

You will work with an interventional gastroenterology team, advanced practitioners, and a dietitian, performing therapeutic and complex procedures across five endoscopy suites with anesthesia support. California license eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Eligible for California Medical License.
• Current fellows are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology care at a regional referral center with high patient volume.
• Collaborate with interventional gastroenterology team and advanced practitioners.
• Perform therapeutic and complex GI procedures (EUS, ERCP, capsule endoscopy, esophageal motility).

Position Highlights

• Regional Gastroenterology Referral Center; offering patient services in therapeutic and complex interventional gastrointestinal procedures (i.e. EUS, ERCP, capsule endoscopy, esophageal motility, clinic hemorrhoidal banding and more)
• Join a collegial team of 4 Gastroenterologists, including an Interventionalist, Advanced Practitioners, Dietician and more
• 5 dedicated Endoscopy suites with state-of-the-art equipment and anesthesia support available
• Greater than 800 referrals per month, will be busy from day one
• Physician Autonomy and flexible schedule offering work-life balance

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive compensation (salary range: $660k-$684k plus productivity) 2 year income guarantee then transition to an RVU production model
• Malpractice Insurance: covered by the medical center
• Robust sign-on bonus & relocation assistance may be available
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness, if qualified
