Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient consultative gastroenterology care at Brighton.
  • Perform routine GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopy.
  • Manage a wide range of GI conditions including GERD, liver disease, IBS, IBD, and GI bleeding.
  • Collaborate with tertiary GI team for advanced cases and referrals.

  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team including advanced practice providers, GI nurses, and anesthesiology support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient consultative gastroenterology care at Brighton

  • Manage a wide range of GI conditions including GERD, liver disease, IBS, IBD, and GI bleeding.
  • Participate in rotating inpatient coverage and call schedule.
  • Collaborate with tertiary GI team for advanced cases and referrals
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team including advanced practice providers, GI nurses, and anesthesiology support.

Optional academic involvement including:

  • Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
  • Participation in clinical quality initiatives
  • Scholarly or research collaboration with Department of Gastroenterology (if desired)
