Job summary

Riceland Healthcare System in Beaumont, TX seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our medical team. The physician will provide comprehensive GI care, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and endoscopic procedures in outpatient and inpatient settings.

You will collaborate with primary care and surgical teams, document in the EMR, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Valid medical license and DEA registration (or eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, etc.).
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and best practices.
• Educate patients and families regarding GI conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled.

Job Summary

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist (GI Physician) to join our growing medical team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and prevention of digestive system diseases. This role involves both outpatient and inpatient care with opportunities for endoscopic procedures and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Clinical Care & Procedures

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, etc.).
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and best practices.

• Extensive experience in hospital-based or group practice settings.

• Subspecialty interest (IBD, hepatology, advanced endoscopy) is a plus.
