Job summary

Centuri, the largest natural gas distribution contractor in the United States, is hiring a Gas Utility Laborer in the United States. You will work under a Foreman, operating alongside Equipment Operators and Pipefitters, gaining hands-on experience and on-the-job training to build a solid foundation in the gas utility trade.

In this role you’ll learn skills in excavation, trenching, shoring and more, with opportunities for advancement after several months of paid training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong desire to learn a new trade.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
